Tree planting, a crucial effort to replenish our forests, has become an urgent necessity for life on Earth. Decades ago, as human infrastructure expanded in many developing nations, vast tracts of trees and forests were lost, leading to a significant imbalance in our ecosystem. Therefore, we need to plant more trees and make the world greener.
The exponential growth of our population has necessitated the expansion of settlements, leading to an increased demand for land. This shift in land use, coupled with the need for urbanization, has often resulted in deforestation. The need for urbanization has led to the construction of residential areas, schools, communities, shopping centres, and more, all of which required clearing the land and cutting down trees.

The absence of trees and forests profoundly impacts climate change, a global crisis that knows no borders. Its effects are felt in every corner of the world, threatening every habitat and every life form.
The consequences of climate change are dire. The world temperature is increasing, leading to global warming, and the sea level is rising. Summers are becoming longer, and some areas are experiencing extreme cold. The rising sea level is causing more flooding and storms in low-lying countries, and these areas are also experiencing less rainfall than they need.
But the good news is that we and the world leaders finally realised they must take urgent action to address this issue. The world leaders gathered in the Paris Agreement and initiated the Race to Zero campaign to help reach net zero by 2050.
Nowadays, many countries have initiated reforesting and planting more trees in their regions and countries. For example, Brazil has made great steps to collect native seeds, plant them, and grow them with sufficient root development to survive.
China has taken many actions to plant more trees and strives to honour its pledge to reduce carbon emissions by 2030. One of their activities has been leading the way in afforestation, and they have the capacity to conserve water. Planting trees not only improves climate change but also brings economic benefits, boosting grain and green production.
